The National Senior Corps Association (NSCA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that it has entered into contractual, grant-supported partnerships  with two national organizations addressing Senior Corps training needs.

  • NSCA will lend its expertise to the Research Triangle Institute (RTI) to develop a Medicaid Waiver publication to assist FGP, RSVP and SCP projects in accessing Medicaid Waiver billing as an additional source of funding. This project has been commissioned by the Corporation for National & Community Service. RTI is a non-profit research organization based in North Carolina.
  • NSCA has accepted an offer to partner with JBS International, Aguirre Division on the development of an "Independent Living" training curriculum designed to assist SCP and RSVP projects in providing high quality service to adults who are elderly or disabled. JBS International, Aguirre Division also operates Project STAR and is based in Burlingame, California.

Incorporated in June 2007, the National Senior Corps Association is the premier organization addressing the funding, programmatic and advocacy needs of FGP, RSVP and SCP projects nationwide under a unified professional management model. The NSCA Board of Directors is pleased to partner with RTI and Aguirre International, knowing that our combined efforts will produce tangible resources for project directors, sponsors and volunteer stations.

Congratulations to all of you! Congratulations, NSCA!  Unquestionably, we are stronger together!
