The National Senior Corps Association (NSCA) congratulates NAFGPD and NARSVPD on being awarded the contract for "peer mentoring of Senior Corps project directors." Congratulations! We all know that the learning curve is steep for new directors and the first year is particularly critical. Over time this worthwhile peer support will no doubt help retain and strengthen many new project directors. We hope you will keep us posted on your progress.  Please let us know if the National Senior Corps Association can lend assistance in any way. 

Board members of NSCA have worked with both NAFGPD and NARSVPD over the past 30 years and NSCA looks forward to a future of collaboration and cooperation to continue the success of all three Senior Corps programs.  We fully support NAFGPD and NARSVPD on this new program to provide mentoring to new Project Directors from all three Senior Corps programs.
